Mode of action:
Cyhalofop-butyl is an aryloxyphenoxypropionic acid conductive gramineous weed herbicide. It is absorbed by the leaves and leaf sheaths of the plant, conducted by the phloem, and accumulated in the meristem area of the plant. Cell growth and division cannot proceed normally. The lipid-containing structure such as the membrane system is destroyed, which eventually leads to the death of the plant.
Uses:
Description: A selective herbicide used for post-emergence control of grass weeds usually in rice crops.
Example weeds controlled: Barnyardgrass; Silver top; Rice flatsedge; Arrowhead; Junglerice; Pigweed; Cocklebur.
Example applications: Rice.
