Ametryn is a selective systemic herbicide for pre- and post-emergence control of most annual grass and broad-leaved weeds. Absorbed by the leaves and roots, with translocation acropetally in the xylem and accumulation in the apical meristems. Photosynthetic electron transport inhibitor at the photosystem II receptor site.
Uses:
Description: A triazine herbicide used to control most annual and broad-leaved weeds.
Example weeds controlled: Burmuda grass, wiregrass, goosegrass, crabgrass and other grass weeds; Broad-leaved weeds including dallisgrass, thistle, purslane, pigweed, cocklebur, lambsquarters, morning glory and foxtail.
