Common name: Emamectin benzoate(emamectin B1a benzoate+ emamectin B1b benzoate)
CAS No.: 155569-91-8
Specification: 70%TC, 19EC, 50EC, 5%WDG, 10%WDG, 30%WDG
Molecular formula: Emamectin benzoate :C56H81NO15
B1a: C56H81NO15 or C49H75NO13.C7H6O2
B1b: C55H79NO15 or C48H73NO13.C7H6O2
Structural formula:
Mode of action:
Emamectin benzoate is a kind of antibiotic insecticide synthesized from Abamectin. It has both stomach-toxic and touch killing effect. After insect contact or feeding, it stops eating quickly and becomes irreversible paralysis, reaching the death peak within 3-4 days. The product was easily absorbed by crops and penetrated into the epidermis, resulting in a long residual effect on the applied crops. The second peak of insecticidal death occurred after 10 days.
Uses:
Emamectin benzoate is an highly efficient insecticide against many larvae of Lepidoptera and other insects, not ovicidal, and can penetrate into plant cuticula; effective even at very low dosage and is not disruptive to beneficial arthropods in integrated pest management programs.
Emamectin benzoate is good for controlling Lepidoptera such as cabbage worms, soybean worms, cotton bollworms, tobacco worms, cabbage armyworms, armyworms, tobacco cutworms and apple leaf rollers. It is especially effective against beet armyworms and diamondback moths on vegetables, tea, tobacco, fruit trees, cotton etc.
